Katie was born and raised in a small suburb outside of Cleveland, Ohio, but has claimed Miami as her adult home. Katie is a graduate of Florida International University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies. She has a professional background in marketing, writing, event planning and management, community relations and non-profit management. Most recently Katie held the role of Director of Programming and Membership with The Commonwealth Institute South Florida for six years. Today she is the founder and president of Bloom Burst, a health and wellness brand that was created to inspire and support clients to lead their happiest and healthiest lives. It is Katie’s mission to work at the intersection of health, healing and wellness to be able to support her client’s mind, body and spirit. Katie recently completed the Yoga Teacher 200-hour training program at the Asheville Yoga Center and is completing the Institute of Integrative Nutrition’s certified Nutrition Health Coaching course.

Bari is a Certified Professional Coach by IPEC (Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching), has an ACC designation by the ICF (International Coaching Federation), and holds a business degree with an Economics major from the University of Miami. As a coach and resource center, Bari assists clients in defining their goals, helping them to remove obstacles (real or perceived) and holds them accountable for what they commit to accomplish towards their vision.

Dr. Todd Narson brings extensive experience and expertise as both a health practitioner and business networker having served as the Miami Beach BNI chapter President for several years. He practices what he preaches–building lasting relationships with other providers in the community. Dr. Narson graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1990 and is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP®). One of only 300 chiropractic sports medicine specialists in the country; 1 of 16 in Florida and the only recognized diplomate practicing in Miami-Dade County, FL.

Michelle is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Registered Dietitian (RD), Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and Certified Dietitian and Nutritionist (CDN) in New York State. I graduated cum laude at New York University (NYU) with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Additionally, I completed a vigorous clinical residency and graduated with a Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Nutrition from NYU.

Kristen is an active spokesperson who advocates for all independent medical and healthcare practices to “stay healthy and alive” in today’s current healthcare climate. As a catalyst for programs with significant social impact, Lucinda specializes in social entrepreneurship. Having received her Masters Degree in Business / Global Social & Sustainable Enterprise, Lucinda dedicates her career to assisting businesses that are in the business of doing good for the world – whether in their own community or in other parts of the world. Her involvements include providing business development services in Lusaka, Zambia where she and her team improved management approaches for a small manufacturer of mobility devices serving base-of-the-pyramid populations. In addition, Lucinda provides business support services to Shonaquip CC and Uhambo Foundation, both of Cape Town, South Africa. James Rohr is a Florida licensed Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine. He is nationally certified in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy. James completed his undergraduate studies in anthropology at Stanford University and his graduate studies in Chinese medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. He also completed a certification program at Chengdu University in China. James has extensive history working in integrative centers, providing the best in traditional and modern medicine. His occupational focus for over 30 years has been business development and communications management. His special areas of expertise are marketing strategy, branding, and messaging. His primary motivation in this chapter of his career is to help well-intentioned organizations spread the word about their offerings. His work has included help to non-profit and for-profit companies who provide services in disabilities management, community education, suicide prevention, wellness center care, and organizational development. Early in his career, he worked for national and global product manufacturers including Compaq Computer Corporation, Pepsi-Cola, and O’Neill, Inc.
