Have you ever worked with a therapist with whom were not connected to, or who was not attuned to you? Are you a successful woman struggling with balancing the demands of your home, professional life and relationships? Are you not getting your emotional or sexual needs met in your marriage?

My goal is to inspire change in your life, whether it is the relationship you have with yourself or someone else, such as a child, parent, or spouse. I focus on building your strengths not just analyzing problems. Together we will explore solutions that are practical and effective. I have a warm, engaging and collaborative style of working.

One of my greatest assets as a therapist is my ability to connect with my clients in a way that allows you to make the positive changes that you want. I am very skilled in engaging my clients in a way that makes them feel comfortable, safe as well as inspired and motivated to reach their goals.

I work with individuals, couples, and families, with a specialized focus in women’s issues and mother-daughter relationships. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in South Florida and a nationally registered Dance Movement Therapist. I received my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling and in Special Education from Barry University. After seven years of practicing Dance Movement Therapy, I applied to become a Board Certified Dance Movement Therapist with the American Dance Therapy Association. I offer private counseling, as well as group sessions and workshops.

 DANCE MOVEMENT THERAPY

Dance can be a wonderful modality of expression towards healing and insightHow we hold our bodies, how tense we are, or how loose we are helps us manage our emotions just like breathing does. When we observe how we stand, sit, gesture, or move, we are watching our emotional present as well as our past. When we look at our body with awareness we can begin to see our story and begin to get in touch with our body’s version of our being.
